Alison Wilen

Ali has lived in Guernsey most of her life. When Ali left school, she became a Dental Nurse before heading off the big smoke and training as a Dental Technician in Kings College London. When she returned to the Island she became a Special Constable in her spare time. She quickly realised that there was a lot that went on behind closed doors and a lot that the general public do not know about. Her passion for helping others moved her to joining the Police Force permanently and in 2004 she became a fully-fledged officer. Within the force she trained in a lot of specialisms, from search, disaster victim Identity (working in Jersey with the Haut Du Mont explosion), dive team, CBRN and rising in rank to Sergeant. After 22 years, it was time to take a step back from the front line and she decided to leave the force. At the time Ali was training in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and will qualify in this in January 2027. Such is her passion for helping people.

This is when Evergreen Bridal Studio came into her life and as Sophie her future daughter in Law was passionate about bridal. Ali decided to take over Evergreen Bridal and change from meeting people in their worse days of their lives, to meeting people in the best days of their lives. Ali has thrown herself headfirst into Evergreen Bridal Studio and wants it to grow and cannot wait to see all the beautiful brides choosing their dream dresses.

Ali will continue to work as a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist at Calm Cove Hypnotherapy, as well as run the Evergreen Bridal Studio and looks forward to meeting you all.
